Qualifying Round Panel of Experts

We are honored to have have a fantastic line-up of noted professionals from all over the world. These include top names in the bodypainting world as well as artists from other disciplines such as film and movies, conceptual design, character development and more. Each of these artists will view your work during the qualifying round, which lasts between July 15 and August 15.

Joanne Gair


is a New Zealand-born make-up artist and body painter whose body paintings have been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue from 1999 to the most recent edition. She is considered the world’s leading trompe-l’œil bodypainter and make-up artist. She became famous with a Vanity Fair cover of Demi Moore in a body painting in 1992. Her “disappearing model” was featured on the highest rated episode of Ripley’s Believe It or Not.

Guido Daniele


is hs-Guidoan Italian artist well-known for his painted hands. Starting in 2000, his “handimals” were created by bodypainting on hands, which have generated great international interest.His work has been used in advertising images and commercials, as well as fashion events and exhibitions. Daniele is committed to wildlife protection and has become increasingly involved with charities such as WWF, the Jane Goodall Institute, Dolphin Aid, Innocence in Danger, PLAN, APNEEF and Liliane Fonds.

Marc Gabbana


is an artist, illustrator and concept designer. He created work for the Matrix films, Star Wars I,II, and III, Hellboy, Spawn, Beowulf, A Christmas Carol, War of the Worlds, The Polar Express and many more. Born in Canada, he now lives in San Francisco.

Emma Cammack


is a British freelance bodypainter and artist Her accomplished work has been admired around the world in editorial, advertisements, commercials, on billboards, on television, in magazines, in calendars, as fine art, on packaging as live body art installations and many other media.

Emma Hack


is an Australian artist working with body paint installation and photography, inspired from wallpaper designs by Florence Broadhurst. The technique received wide exposure in the music video to Gotye’s hit Somebody That I Used to Know. Her latest work has also incorporated Australian flora and fauna, as well as Oriental influences.

Ernst Weiser



is an Austrian airbrush bodypainting artist that has had a significant influence on the international bodypainting scene for more than two decades. 
He has served as the head judge at the World Bodypainting Festival and has encouraged many young talents with his experience and knowledge.
