High-Resolution Professional Photography of YOUR Bodypainting!
Yes, We are now in North Carolina
The best airports are GSO (Greensboro), and RDU (Raleigh-Durham). You will find RDU to be your least expensive option. RDU is a bit less than an hour East of Greensboro. The other airport you might consider is CLT (Charlotte) which is about an hour and forty-five minutes to the South.
We are in the “Piedmont Triad”, at the far edge of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a little hilly here, but not so much. You will find small-town Southern hospitality, and the prices for things will likely be less expensive than you’ve been used to paying. It is easy to drive from place to place, and everything is pretty close to everything else.
Rental cars are the best way to get around. This is NOT a big city and there are no taxis, subways, buses or trains that you can easily access for travel. Uber is available, but this will get expensive. As a series of locations within two small/medium-sized towns, there are some miles to travel and this is best done with a rental car. Most of the locations are under 30 minutes travel.
Hotels and Lodging
SPECIAL NOTE: Living Art America 2017 will be held at the same time of the High Point Furniture Market. This means that hotel rooms will be filled with many international travelers and less freely available than at other times of the year. It is for this reason that we STRONGLY encourage you to book early or seek an alternate solution for lodgings such as airbnb.com, couchsurfing.com or another similar service. If you have made friends with local people, you might consider staying with them. We will attempt to expand a network of potential contacts for this. We can offer assistance in a few limited cases, but we cannot be responsible for your lodging.
